MrVignette

Terms of Service

Last updated: 17 July 2026. These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) govern every order placed on mrvignette.com. By placing an order you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted them.

1. Provider & scope

1.1. The website mrvignette.com ("MrVignette", "we", "us", "our") is operated by Funko International AB, Jaktstigen 24, 78450, Borlange, Sweden, ORG NO. 556284-3119. Funko International AB is the contracting party for every purchase made on this site.

1.2. These terms apply exclusively to the contractual relationship between you (the "Customer") and MrVignette. Divergent, additional or conflicting terms proposed by the Customer do not apply, even if we do not expressly object to them.

1.3. The Customer is a consumer when acting outside any commercial or self-employed professional activity, and a business in all other cases. Certain rights described below (e.g. the statutory right of withdrawal) apply only to consumers.

2. Object of the contract

2.1. Through mrvignette.com the Customer can acquire electronic motorway vignettes ("e-vignettes") and, where applicable, road, tunnel and bridge tolls ("e-tolls") for the European countries listed on the homepage.

2.2. The nature and scope of the service depends on the destination country and its national rules:

  • Hungary, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Austria and Romania (Rovinieta & tolls): we sell the digital proof (PDF) that a toll has been paid for a specific vehicle, granting the right to use the toll roads and transport infrastructure of that country. MrVignette purchases this service from the competent national authority or authorised distributor and resells it to the Customer.
  • Switzerland: we act solely as a technical service provider. On behalf of and for the account of the Customer, we register the vehicle in the electronic toll system of the Swiss motorway operator for the chosen validity period. We do not issue a stand-alone PDF vignette — the official confirmation of registration issued by the Swiss authority is forwarded to the Customer.

2.3. E-vignettes and tolls are issued solely by the competent national authority on the basis of national law. Only that authority can decide whether or not to issue a vignette. MrVignette has no influence on this decision. The vehicle registration plate you provide is essential for issuing the vignette — please check it carefully before confirming the order.

2.4. We are entitled to perform the registration and any administrative actions (e.g. changing vehicle or customer data, where permitted) vis-à-vis the competent authority on your behalf, provided such actions correspond to your actual or presumed intent.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract in your country of residence. By placing an order you confirm that the data provided is accurate and that you are the driver, the registered keeper of the vehicle, or otherwise authorised by the keeper to purchase a vignette for the vehicle in question.

4. Contract offer & conclusion of contract

4.1. The presentation of products and services on mrvignette.com does not constitute a legally binding offer; it is an invitation for you to place an order.

4.2. By clicking the "Place order & pay" button on the checkout page you place a binding order for the products listed in your order summary. We will confirm receipt of your order without undue delay by email; this confirmation of receipt does not yet constitute acceptance of your offer.

4.3. The contract is concluded once we send you an explicit statement of acceptance in text form (typically the "Order received" or "E-vignette activated" email).

5. Prices, taxes & payment

5.1. All prices displayed at checkout are total prices in the currency you selected. They include the official vignette or toll fee, applicable value-added tax (VAT) where required by law, and our service fee. The amount charged to your card is final and matches the total shown before you confirm the payment.

5.2. Where the Customer selects a currency different from the invoicing currency of the destination country, the invoice will show the applicable local-currency amount converted at the reference rate of the relevant central bank (ECB or the national central bank of the destination country) valid at the moment of the order.

5.3. Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay and local European payment methods where offered at checkout. We never store your full card number or CVC on our own servers.

5.4. Invoices are delivered in PDF format by email and are legally binding. You accept the electronic invoice as a replacement for a paper invoice.

5.5. Set-off against our claims is only permitted with counterclaims that are undisputed or established by a final and binding court decision.

6. Delivery & activation

6.1. Once payment is confirmed we register the vignette with the competent national authority — typically within two minutes, and in exceptional cases within a few hours.

6.2. You will receive:

  • an "Order received" email immediately after payment, containing your invoice; and
  • an "E-vignette activated" email once the authority confirms the registration, containing the official proof of purchase.

6.3. Vignettes become valid on the start date you selected. Once activated, they cannot be transferred to another vehicle.

7. Tunnel, bridge and section tolls — how they work

7.1. Some routes are not covered by a motorway vignette. Certain tunnels, bridges and mountain sections are operated as separate toll objects and must be paid for individually, in addition to the vignette for that country. On mrvignette.com these products appear in the order flow under "Tunnels and special sections" and are optional — add only the sections you actually intend to drive.

7.2. What you buy. A section toll is a right of passage for one specific vehicle through one specific tunnel, bridge or section:

  • One way — a single passage through the section.
  • Return trip — two passages (there and back) through the same section, sold at a reduced combined price where the operator offers it. Some sections, such as Karawanken A11, are only sold as a single passage.

7.3. Direction and coverage. Unless the product note states otherwise, a section toll is valid in both directions of travel. Where the note states a restriction (for example "From Austria only"), the passage is valid only in that direction. The Pyhrn A9 product covers the Bosruck and Gleinalm tunnels together; buying it means you do not need those two products separately.

7.4. Prices. The price shown at checkout is the total price in your selected currency and includes the operator's official toll, applicable VAT and our service fee. In our catalogue the price of a section toll does not depend on the vehicle category — motorcycles, cars up to 3.5 t and heavy vehicles/campers pay the same amount for the same section. Prices set by the operators can change; the price valid for your order is the price displayed at the moment you confirm it.

7.5. Vignette still required. A tunnel, bridge or section toll never replaces the motorway vignette. If you use the motorway network before or after the tolled section you also need a valid vignette for that country. Conversely, a valid vignette does not entitle you to pass a separately tolled tunnel, bridge or section.

7.6. Delivery and validity. Section tolls are registered to the licence plate you provide and are delivered as a digital proof of payment by email, in the same way as vignettes (section 6). The passage is valid on the date you selected; where the operator issues a longer validity window, that window is stated on your proof of payment. Keep the proof available during your journey — enforcement is carried out by the operator, either electronically via plate recognition or at a toll station.

7.7. Changes and cancellation. Section tolls follow the same rules as vignettes: you may correct the plate or shift the date up to 24 hours before the selected date (section 8), and Flex Travel, where purchased, also covers the section tolls in the same order (section 9). After the date has passed, an unused passage cannot be refunded.

7.8. Your responsibility. You choose which sections to add. We cannot verify your intended route, and we are not liable for a toll purchased for a section you did not drive, for a missing section toll on a route you did drive, or for fines imposed by an operator as a result. If you are unsure which sections apply to your route, contact us before ordering.

8. Editing an order

You may correct the license plate or shift the start date of an order from your order page as long as the earliest selected start date is at least 24 hours in the future. Once that 24-hour lead time has passed — or once the order has been activated, cancelled or refunded — the details are locked and can no longer be changed via self-service. When you shift a start date, each vignette's end date is shifted automatically so its paid duration is preserved.

9. Flex Travel add-on

9.1. Flex Travel is an optional paid add-on that can be selected at the moment of ordering. It cannot be added retroactively.

9.2. When Flex Travel is included in your order, you additionally have the right, up to 24 hours before the earliest selected start date, to:

  • change the license plate and/or country of registration of the vehicle;
  • postpone the start date by up to two months into the future; and
  • cancel the order for a full refund of the vignette price and service fee. The Flex Travel fee itself is non-refundable.

9.3. Changes and cancellations under Flex Travel are made exclusively by the Customer via the self-service "Manage order" area. Requests submitted by email or phone are not covered by Flex Travel.

9.4. Once the 24-hour lead time has passed the order is locked and the standard cancellation rules apply.

9.5. Time of cancellation. The decisive moment is the time your cancellation or change is registered in our system when you confirm it in the "Manage order" area — not the time you started filling in the form or contacted us. The deadline is 24 hours before 00:00 local time in the destination country on the earliest selected start date.

9.6. Service fee. A cancellation made in time under Flex Travel is refunded in full, including our service fee and any VAT; only the Flex Travel fee itself is retained. Cancellations of orders without Flex Travel are refunded excluding the service fee.

9.7. Automatic refund when your vehicle is already covered. Independently of Flex Travel, if the competent authority's register shows that your vehicle already holds a valid vignette covering the same country and period, no second vignette can be issued. In that case we cancel the order and refund it in full automatically, including our service fee and any VAT. You do not need to contact us or fill in a form.

9.8. How the automatic refund works. When we submit the registration, the authority checks whether the submitted plate already has an active vignette for the requested country and period. If it does, the authority rejects the new registration. Our system then:

  • cancels the order immediately;
  • registers a full refund in our system, including the service fee;
  • sends you an email confirming the cancellation and stating the validity dates of your existing vignette; and
  • initiates the refund to your original payment method through Stripe.

9.9. Timeline. The refund is registered in our system the same moment the authority rejects the duplicate registration. Stripe begins processing it within a few minutes. Most banks and card issuers show the money on your account within 2–5 business days; in exceptional cases it can take up to 5–10 business days. Your existing vignette remains valid and unaffected.

9.10. Example. You order a 10-day Austrian vignette on Friday at 09:00 for start date Monday, not knowing that your car already has an Austrian vignette valid 1 June – 30 June. At 09:20 we submit the registration and the authority returns an active vignette for your plate covering the same period. The order is cancelled at 09:20, the full refund is registered, and you receive an email confirming the refund with the text "Current active vignette: 01-06-26 to 30-06-26". The money is returned to your card within 5–10 business days.

10. Right of withdrawal (consumers)

10.1. Consumers have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without stating reasons. To exercise this right, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw by a clear statement — for example by email to hello@mrvignette.com. Sending the statement before the end of the withdrawal period is sufficient.

10.2. If you validly withdraw, we will refund all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receipt of your withdrawal, using the same payment method used for the original transaction.

10.3. Loss of the right of withdrawal. The right of withdrawal expires prematurely for contracts for the supply of digital services once the service has been fully performed, if performance began with your express prior consent and you acknowledged that your right of withdrawal would be lost upon full performance. By selecting a start date within 14 days and confirming the order you provide such consent — you expressly agree that we begin performance immediately and acknowledge that the right of withdrawal is lost once the vignette has been registered with the competent authority.

11. Customer obligations

11.1. You agree to cooperate in the execution of your order. In particular, you must provide accurate personal data, contact information, vehicle registration plate, country of registration and vehicle category (mass, axles, height, drive system, as required), and keep these up to date until the vignette is issued.

11.2. You warrant that you are the driver or registered keeper of the vehicle, or that you have been authorised by the keeper.

11.3. You must select the vehicle category that matches the technical data in your vehicle registration document. Using a vignette from the wrong category is treated by the authorities as an unpaid toll and can result in a fine addressed directly to you.

11.4. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide. Vignettes registered with incorrect user-supplied data cannot be refunded. If you notice a typo, contact us immediately — ideally before the start date and within 24 hours of purchase — and we will attempt to correct the registration with the competent authority where their rules allow.

12. Liability

12.1. We are liable without limitation for damages caused by intent or gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and where mandatory statutory provisions require unlimited liability.

12.2. In cases of ordinary negligence, we are liable only for breach of material contractual obligations (obligations whose fulfilment is essential to the proper performance of the contract and on whose fulfilment the Customer regularly relies), and such liability is limited to damage that was reasonably foreseeable at the time the contract was concluded, and in any event to the amount paid for the affected order.

12.3. We are not liable for fines imposed by toll authorities as a result of incorrect data provided by the Customer, for delays caused by the authorities themselves, or for indirect or consequential damages such as missed connections, alternative transport or accommodation costs.

13. Force majeure

We are not liable for delays or non-performance caused by events outside our reasonable control, including outages of national toll authority systems, payment provider outages, strikes, war, natural disasters, sanctions, or acts of public authorities.

14. Intellectual property

The MrVignette name, "Mr. Vignette" wordmark, logo, website design, imagery and content are the property of Funko International AB and/or its licensors. Country names, flags and official vignette designs remain the property of the respective national authorities. You may not copy, reproduce, republish or distribute any part of the site without our prior written consent.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version applicable to your order is the version published on this page at the time of purchase. Material changes will be announced on the homepage at least 14 days before they take effect.

16. Governing law & jurisdiction

16.1. These terms, and any contract concluded on their basis, are governed by the laws of the British Virgin Islands, to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Consumers additionally benefit from the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country of their habitual residence, which cannot be limited by this choice of law.

16.2. For business customers, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is the registered office of Funko International AB. For consumers, the statutory rules on jurisdiction apply.

17. Out-of-court dispute resolution

The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Our email address for this purpose is hello@mrvignette.com. We are not obliged, and are not willing, to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body.

18. Severability

Should any provision of these terms be or become invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
