Buying an e-vignette covers motorway access in countries like Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria — but it does not cover the big alpine bore tunnels or Austria's special toll sections (Sondermaut). Those are charged at the barrier, in cash, by card, or with a Télépéage / Telepass tag.
